Best Bitcoin Mining machine of 2022: Bitmain Ant S19 series

Bitmain is a giant in the mining machine industry, rising to become the most prominent maker of Bitcoin mining machines since its founding in 2013. Bitmain's three most popular machine lines are the S19, S17, and S9 series, of which the S19 series is the newest, most powerful, and most efficient.

The original S19 was released in 2020 and had an incredible energy consumption of around 34 J/TH. The S19j Pro series was released in 2021 with higher computing power and improved energy consumption of 29.5 J/TH. So far, few problems have been reported with the S19 and S19j Pro, and the machine is a popular choice for bitcoin miners large and small.

Unveiled at the Bitmain Summit in Dubai in November 2021, the Ant S19 XP boasts an incredible 21.5 W/TH efficiency, the highest of any air-cooled miner on the market. The machines are sold directly only to large miners with large MOQ requirements (brokers and dealers such as Luxor's trading platform are also starting to stock them).

Unfortunately, some miners reported that running the S19 XP at too high a temperature significantly reduced the efficiency of the machine. MicroBT, founded in 2016 by former BitMain employees, is another Bitcoin mining machine maker. It's also one of the biggest players to challenge BitMain's market dominance (though with Intel and Block, the mining machine market is getting more diversified).
